Stewardship at Osa Nova
Ecological Responsibility · Cultural Partnership · Institutional Commitment
Stewardships are the highest expression of partnership with Osa Nova. They are not transactional or commercial. They are long‑term, values‑aligned commitments from individuals, families, organizations, and institutions who choose to help protect the ecological and cultural rhythm of the Tropical Urban Park. Stewardship is where Osa Nova becomes more than a destination; it becomes a shared ecological and cultural institution.
What Stewardship Supports
Every Steward helps sustain the living systems that define the Tropical Urban Park:
ecological restoration and habitat protection, cultural and educational programming, community access and public pathways, and long‑term ecological monitoring and resilience.
These are the foundations that keep the park alive.
Ecological Access for All Stewards
All Stewardship tiers include full access to the Tropical Urban Park during opening hours, daily ecological access to Playa Juanito Mora, and daily ecological access to Chimpol Jungle Reserve.
This access is not a benefit; it is an invitation to participate in the rhythm of the land you help protect.
Areas of Stewardship Impact
Stewardship strengthens the park across four interconnected areas:
• Ecological Stewardship — forest, mangrove, water, and habitat restoration
• Cultural & Educational Stewardship — programs, workshops, and public learning
• Infrastructure Stewardship — trails, access, safety, and ecological systems
• Organizational & Brand Stewardship — partnerships that amplify the mission
These are the ways your support moves through the park.
Stewardship Levels
Stewardship is a single category with five levels of commitment:
• Park Friends
• Park Partners
• Park Guardians
• Park Patrons
• Park Benefactors
Each level represents a different degree of ecological and cultural partnership.
What Stewardship Does Not Include
To protect the integrity of the Tropical Urban Park, Stewardships do not include:
• discounts
• free stays
• booking privileges
• advertising rights
• naming rights
• operational influence
• VIP treatment
Stewardship remains ecological, cultural, and institutional — never commercial.
